We welcome you to Bangladesh Deputy High Commission in Kolkata – The First Bangladesh Mission Abroad. We have taken this initiative to take you along in a journey with us to the many wonders and attractions that have brought people from all over the world to our lands for millennia now. Bangladesh is a relatively new country but ours is an old nation with rich culture and heritage. We welcome you on-board as we move ahead in time. We want you to know Bangladesh and its people and how we fare in India.

VISA Requirements

1. Filled-in online application Form

(www.visa.gov.bd)

2. Photographs (Size 45x35mm and recent one); 02 copies

3. Valid Passport

4. Payment receipt of Visa fee (No fee is required for Indian citizen). For countries (other than India) Visa fee is applicable.

5. Old Passport required if any.

While filling in online, we suggest that you have the following information on hand-

1. Valid Passport

2. 45x35mm digital photo in jpeg format, maximum size is 300kb

3. Address in Bangladesh

4. Email Address

1. Filled in prescribe visa application Form can be obtained from

www.visa.gov.bd

2. Passport (with photocopy)

3. 2 (two) recent Passport size colour photography (Photo is mandatory with white background )

4. Proof of residence (Aadhar Card, Voter ID, Ration Card, Driving License and Pan Car.)

5. Copy of Old Passport (If any)

6. For professionals, proof of profession and “No Objection Certificate” from competent authority

7. If visitor/visitors reside in the Bangladeshi national’s residence must submit a copy of ID proof of the concerned person.

8. Copy of Professional ID proof.

9. Copy of latest Electricity Bill.

2. Application in Letter head from Applicants Organization

3. Invitation from a Business Organization of Bangladesh

4. Concerned Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industries Recommendation

5. Trade license, Export-Import license, Bank Statement, copy of LC  /Bill of Entry

1. All documents for Tourist Visa (Under ‘A’)

2. Affidavit from Bangladeshi spouse

3. Copy of Marriage Certificate

4. Copy of Passport Or National Identity Card  (NID) of Bangladeshi spouse

2. Letter of Bangladesh Investment and Development Authority (BIDA).

3. Copy of Advertisement of Newspaper

4. Copy of Appointment

5. Copy of Educational Qualification

6. Copy of National Identity.

2. Letter from Ministry of Cultural Affairs and Ministry of Information of Bangladesh (Cultural performer).

3. Letter from Ministry of Youth and Sports and Sports Federation of Bangladesh (Sports persons).

4. Letter from concern local Sports Federation.
